The regulatory approvals phase provides funding to complete studies required for a renewable energy approval, as well as other environmental, municipal, provincial and federal regulatory approvals your project may require.

The regulatory approvals phase will cover up to 40 percent of eligible costs to a maximum of $500,000, less any funding provided in the pre-feasibility and design and development phases. Please see the Program Rules for more details about the AREF.
