Update: The Ontario Power Authority received a new direction from the Minister of Energy on June 12, 2013. Please click here to view the June 12, 2013 Directive. The Minister has indicated that a new procurement process will replace the existing large project stream of the FIT Program. More information on this new process will be made available when it is finalized.

In the interim, AREF will no longer be accepting funding applications for the Partnership and Organizational Development Streams for projects with an intended capacity of more than 500 kW that do not have an existing FIT Contract. Additionally, the OPA will start reallocating the $250,000 for Large FIT projects under the Organizational Development and Partnership Streams to the Small FIT projects under AREF once the existing $250,000 allocation has been exhausted.

The OPA will provide updates on the funding process for large projects (over 500 kW) under the new procurement process as they are available.
